The dinner is postponed.
The drive is not.

We've made the hard decision to postpone the Sole Food 2026 dinner. The funding we were counting on didn't come through in time, and we won't host an event we can't do right by our community, our partners, and everyone who makes it happen.

What hasn't changed: families still need shoes. Our sneaker drive continues through December 31, 2026. Every pair will still be cleaned by our SOLES UP youth apprentices and delivered to Southwest Youth & Family Services in January 2027.

If you bought a ticket or donated through Givebutter, we'll reach out to you directly. To every partner, sponsor, food partner, performer, and volunteer who said yes this year: thank you. We'll be back at the table, and we'll share new plans soon.

Where sneaker care
meets community care.

Sole Food started with a simple belief: the same care we put into restoring a pair of shoes belongs in how we care for each other.

For the second year, TheReSole 206 collects donated sneakers from businesses and individuals across Seattle. Our SOLES UP youth apprentices clean and assess every pair. Then we celebrate what we built together and deliver every pair to the young people and families who need them most.

"Last year 75 people sat down together in a sneaker shop. We delivered 120 pairs of shoes."

— TDUB, Founder, TheReSole 206

Every donated pair is delivered to Southwest Youth & Family Services for distribution to youth and families across Seattle's Central District and South Seattle.

Your shoes can carry
someone further.

Clean out your closet. Pull out the pairs you haven't touched in a year. Drop them off — and our SOLES UP youth apprentices will clean and assess every single one before delivery. Nothing goes to the landfill. Every shoe finds its next home.

250+
pairs is our 2026 goal, more than double last year.

Drop a pair. Show them some love.

These businesses and organizations opened their doors to the drive. When you drop off, grab a coffee, book a cut, or say thanks. Supporting them supports Sole Food.

Collecting from within.

Some partners are running private sneaker drives within their own communities. These locations aren't open for public drop-off, but their families, staff, and parents are collecting pairs for Sole Food from the inside. Thank you to:

Part of a school, workplace, team, or congregation? You can run a drive just for your people. We'll provide the bin and signage and pick up everything you collect. Start a community drive

Collection runs now through December 31, 2026. Every pair will be cleaned and delivered to Southwest Youth & Family Services in one big drop in January 2027. More drop spots are being added, so check back soon.

Give your people
somewhere to give.

We provide the collection box and all signage. You provide the space. We handle pickups whenever your bin fills up, through December 31.

Host a public drop spot open to anyone, which works great for sneaker boutiques, athletic retailers, gyms, barbershops, and community-rooted businesses. Or run a community drive just for your school, workplace, team, or congregation.
