The Artist

TDUB has been customizing shoes since she was 12 years old. What started in a bedroom with paint and a pair of beaters has become 26 years of practiced mastery — a body of work that has been worn on NFL fields, at Beyoncé concerts, and on the streets of Seattle by people who wanted something that had never existed before.

In 2020 Russell Wilson commissioned TDUB to create art about victims of police violence on his game cleats for the NFL's Cause My Cleats campaign. He wore them on the field. That year he was named Walter Payton Man of the Year — the most prestigious humanitarian award in professional football — and mentioned TDUB by name in his speech. TDUB also made custom one-of-one kicks for his entire family. Because when Russell asked, TDUB understood that the shoes needed to carry not just the cause but the people behind it.

In 2023 Beyoncé brought the Renaissance World Tour to Seattle and set a dress code. TDUB showed up in handmade glass mirror tile Air Force 1s she built herself — catching light like a disco ball, worn once, because when the most visually spectacular tour of a generation comes to your city you don't just attend. You arrive.

These are not service transactions. They are collaborations between an artist and the people, moments, and stories that matter enough to be made permanent.

Custom work at TheReSole 206 is art commission. The shoe is the canvas. Your story is the brief. TDUB's 26 years are the instrument.

The Work

The Cause My Cleats — Russell Wilson

2020  ·  NFL Cause My Cleats Campaign

Russell Wilson commissioned TDUB to create wearable art about victims of police violence on his game cleats. She made a pair for Russell — then made one-of-one custom kicks for Ciara, Sienna, Future, and Win. Because the family is part of the man, and the man is part of the statement. That year Wilson was named Walter Payton Man of the Year and mentioned TDUB by name in his speech.

The Renaissance Force 1s

2023  ·  Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour, Seattle

Beyoncé set a dress code for her own concert. TDUB showed up in Air Force 1s she built herself from real glass mirror tiles — catching light like a disco ball, worn once. Not a commission. Not a client brief. Just an artist who decided that if Beyoncé was bringing the most visually spectacular tour of a generation to Seattle, she was going to arrive in something worthy of the room.

The Creative Control Timbs

Ongoing  ·  Commissioned by Rex

Rex came up with TDUB doing custom kicks in high school. He commissioned a pair and said go crazy. Mario and Luigi on the tongue. All the Sonics logos with a Shawn Kemp Kamikaze background on the side panel. Rex from Toy Story wearing Red October Yeezys. Tommy and Chucky from Rugrats milk drunk surrounded by bottles. Pure pop culture maximalism from someone who has been doing this since before it had a name.

Two ways to commission TDUB

The Canvas is the accessible commission — defined scope, fast turnaround, beautiful work.

The TDUB Commission is the atelier work — full collaboration, full creative investment, a piece that joins TDUB's permanent body of work.
